Key Responsibilities:

Consumer Care Business:

1. Managing 3P (Third-Party) Relationships:
• Oversee third-party suppliers for the Consumer Care business, with a primary focus on conversion cost, timely supply of Finished Goods (FG), and the movement of Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM) to factories.
• Actively manage five 3P suppliers for the supply of Personal Care, Home Care, and Baby Care products. Ensure the full and final settlement of accounts and closure of inactive 3P suppliers.
2. Evaluation, Negotiation, and Promotion Offers:
• Lead the evaluation and negotiation processes for promotional offers for Consumer Care products including Colgate, Marico, Spoon, Pen, etc.
3. Import Management:
• Manage the import of Unza Products, including Enchanteur HBL and Talc, from Malaysia and Vietnam. Oversee the transition and ensure smooth operations during the import process.
4. Packaging Sourcing and Coordination:
• Lead the sourcing of packaging options and designs in line with the requirements set by the brand team.
5. 3P Evaluation for New Product Introduction (NPI):
• Conduct 3P evaluations and coordinate with R&D for the smooth transition of new products to 3P. Finalize contracts and manufacturing terms for new products.
6. Regulatory Compliance (CDSCO Registration):
• Oversee the CDSCO registration process for cosmetics products to ensure compliance for importation into India.
7. Promo Offer Sourcing and Payments:
• Manage sourcing of PM for promotional offers, ensuring smooth procurement and timely payment execution.
8. E-commerce Packaging Solutions:
• Develop e-commerce specific SKU packaging solutions and offer packaging for online retail.

Foods Business:

1. 3P Evaluation for Snack Foods Manufacturing:
• Lead the evaluation of third-party suppliers for the manufacturing of snack foods. This includes shortlisting 2 units for the production of Ready-to-Eat snack products.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Qualifications:
• B.Tech (Engineering) degree required.
• Experience:
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in sourcing, third-party supplier management, and production coordination in the consumer care, packaging, and/or foods industry.
• Proven track record in managing third-party manufacturers and suppliers, especially in the Personal Care, Home Care, Baby Care, and Foods segments.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of supply chain management, packaging sourcing, regulatory requirements (CDSCO), and product registration for importation.
• Knowledge of sourcing packaging materials and technical support for e-commerce packaging solutions.
• Communication & Negotiation Skills:
• Strong negotiation skills for vendor and supplier agreements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Geographic Knowledge:
• Experience in managing regional sourcing and supply operations across SAARC countries (Sri Lanka, Bangladesh).
• Software Proficiency:
• Familiarity with relevant sourcing, supply chain, and procurement software tools.
