The Wind Power Plant Manager is responsible for maximizing revenue generation and minimizing operational losses and costs by overseeing efficient Operation & Maintenance and Asset Management of
the wind power plant. This role ensures regulatory compliance and smooth coordination with external stakeholders, resolves critical site-specific issues, and maintains asset integrity and longevity. Acting as the
on-ground leader, the manager bridges corporate objectives with field operations while proactively mitigating risks to optimize plant performance and sustainability.

Job Context: As the Asset Manager for Wind Site (ISTS), this role leads efficient and profitable plant operations with a focus on maximizing energy generation (PLF) and minimizing losses (LPF). Success requires strong technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, and effective stakeholder management, including coordination
with entities like State EB. The manager balances resource optimization, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation to ensure asset longevity. Addressing site-specific issues such as Right of Way (ROW) is also
critical. This role is essential for aligning field operations with strategic business goals.

 Achieving and exceeding energy generation targets.

 Minimizing turbine downtime and maximizing availability.
 Monitoring and analyzing performance data to identify areas for improvement.
 Implementing and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
 Ensuring optimal performance of all site equipment and infrastructure.

Maintenance Management

 Planning and executing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
 Managing maintenance schedules and ensuring timely completion.
 Supervising maintenance teams (internal and external contractors).
 Ensuring the quality of maintenance work and adherence to safety standards.

 

 Job Description 

 Managing spare parts inventory and ensuring availability of critical components.

Safety, Health, and Environment (HSE)  Ensuring strict adherence to all HSE policies and procedures.
 Conducting regular safety inspections and audits.
 Identifying and mitigating potential hazards and risks.
 Leading and participating in safety meetings and training programs.
 Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
 Managing emergency response procedures.

Team Management and Leadership:

 Supervising and leading the site operations and maintenance team.
 Managing team performance, providing feedback, and identifying training needs.
 Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
 Ensuring effective communication within the team and with other stakeholders.
 Managing staff rosters and ensuring adequate coverage for site activities.

HSE weekly Work closely to ensure compliance with safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective actions site-wide.

Procurement Manager - Supply Chain

Biweekly Coordinate for timely availability of spare parts and tools, optimizing inventory levels to minimize downtime.

HR Monthly Coordinate with HR for manpower and management

Legal team Monthly Engage to address community concerns, discuss environmental impact, and foster positive relations supporting site operations.
Finance weekly For claim reimbursement and budget

Tracks metered energy generation, wheeling charges, and financial reconciliations with off-takers and DISCOMs for each billing cycle.

Power Purchase Agreements(PPA)

Legal contracts detailing the terms, pricing, and delivery commitments for energy sold to utilities or private power off-takers.
