Job Summary

The Vice President – Project Sales will be responsible for leading and scaling the project sales business for project LED Lighting and Electrical Panels. The role involves strategic planning, business development, key account management, team leadership, and driving revenue growth across regions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities

 Develop and execute sales strategies for project-based LED Lighting and Electrical Panel businesses.
 Lead, mentor, and manage the project sales team to achieve organizational targets.
 Define annual sales plans, budgets, forecasts, and growth roadmaps.
 Work closely with top management to align sales strategy with company objectives.

Business Development & Sales

 Identify and develop new business opportunities in government, infrastructure, industrial, and commercial projects.
 Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, architects, contractors, EPC companies, and key decision-makers.
 Lead high-value negotiations, tendering processes, and contract finalization.
 Ensure achievement of revenue, margin, and market share targets.

Project & Key Account Management

 Oversee end-to-end project sales lifecycle from lead generation to order closure
 Manage key and strategic accounts and ensure long-term partnerships.
 Coordinate with engineering, application, procurement, and operations teams for smooth project execution.
 Ensure timely project handover and customer satisfaction.

Market Intelligence & Expansion

 Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
 Identify new regions, verticals, and product applications for expansion.
 Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.

Reporting & Compliance

 Provide regular MIS, sales reports, and performance reviews to management.
 Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical practices.

Required Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics preferred).
 MBA in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.

Required Experience & Skills

 Minimum 15+ years of experience in Project Sales, preferably in Electrical Project, LED Lighting and Electrical Panels.
 Strong exposure to B2B and institutional sales.
 Proven track record of handling large projects and high-value clients.
 Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
 Strong business acumen with strategic thinking ability.
 Ability to work under pressure and manage multi-location teams.
