WIND Site HEAD - Sr Manager Level- Project Execution (100+ MW projects ), Undoo (Rajasthan)
Job Description:
1) Job Purpose:
To lead end-to-end site construction and execution activities for large-scale Wind projects (100+ MW portfolio) by driving safe, timely, and cost-effective project delivery while managing all site functions, contractors, OEM coordination, and cross-functional execution teams.
2) Job Context & Major Challenges:
Operating from remote wind project sites, the role is responsible for overall construction leadership and execution management across multiple work fronts including civil, electrical, mechanical, WTG erection, commissioning coordination, logistics, EHS, and stakeholder management.
Key challenges include managing large-scale execution under aggressive timelines, handling multiple contractors and OEM dependencies, coordinating heavy equipment and logistics in remote locations, ensuring workforce productivity and safety, resolving site-level execution bottlenecks, and driving seamless coordination across all site functions to achieve commissioning targets.
The role requires a strong site execution leader currently handling complete site responsibility for Wind projects. Profiles limited to Mechanical Lead, Electrical Lead, or purely Project Planning/Project Management roles without direct site leadership exposure will not fit the requirement.

Liaise with local authorities, landowners, and project stakeholders for uninterrupted site execution |

Cost & Productivity Monitoring |
Monitor site productivity, optimize resource utilization, and control construction costs |

Commissioning Readiness & Handover |
Ensure punch-point closure, testing readiness, and smooth handover to commissioning/O&M teams |
4) Job Purpose of Direct Reports:
Direct reports support discipline-wise execution, site operations, safety compliance, quality assurance, planning, and contractor coordination activities to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Civil Construction Leads: Manage civil execution including foundations, roads, and infrastructure works
- Electrical Construction Leads: Drive electrical execution including cabling, switchyard, and transmission activities
- Mechanical / WTG Execution Leads: Handle WTG erection, crane operations, and mechanical execution activities
- EHS Team: Ensure implementation of site safety systems and compliance frameworks
- Planning Engineers: Monitor project schedules, progress tracking, and reporting activities
- QA/QC Engineers: Ensure adherence to construction quality standards and inspection protocols

Qualifications:
- Full-time B.Tech / BE (Mandatory) – Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- 15–18 years of relevant experience in Wind project construction and site execution
- Must currently be working as a Site Head / Construction Head handling complete Wind project site responsibility
- Experience in execution of 100+ MW Wind project portfolios preferred
- Strong exposure to WTG erection, crane operations, switchyard execution, transmission systems, and site coordination
- Proven experience in managing multi-functional site teams, contractors, and OEMs
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, EHS practices, and project execution controls
- Experience working in remote site environments with strong stakeholder and local coordination skills
- Proficiency in project reporting, SAP/ERP systems, MS Excel, and construction monitoring tools
