Asst/Deputy Manager Procurement – Civil (Solar Energy Projects)- Mumbai
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced procurement professional for activities related to civil works in Solar energy projects, The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of procurement experience, particularly in sourcing, contract management, vendor management, contract negotiation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience related to Services procurement, EPC contracts, and infrastructure development, preferably in renewable energy. Ready to visit sites whenever required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work Order closure of Pile Foundation works, MMS works, ICR Foundations, Road, Switchyard ETC, MCR, Boundary wall, Road, Cable Trenching, ETC of Electrical equipment, Soil Testing Contour Survey, Trenching, etc.
- Formulate Service Procurement Strategies for respective Works Packages. Manage entire Procure-to-Pay Process – Prepare and Release RFP, Obtain Quotes, Negotiate, Prepare Techno-commercial Evaluation and Comparison Statement, Recommendation, Note for Approval, Work Order Preparation & Closure.
- To monitor Budget v/s Actual expense and circulate MIS regularly (Weekly) for monitoring of service procurement activities and sharing the same with senior management
- Settle issues with Contractor viz. payment reconciliation, debit note, implementation of penalty clauses, risk purchase clauses etc.
- Work collaboratively with Engineering, Projects, Finance & Accounts, and Construction teams to understand cost targets, project timelines, compliance aspects and related constraints
