Senior Software Engineer – Java and API Integrations Thane Mumbai
Job Description:
API Development & Integration
- Design and develop REST/SOAP APIs using Java technologies.
- Build integrations between core business applications and third-party systems.
- Develop reusable services and integration components.
- Support API lifecycle management, versioning with Gitlab CICD pipelines, and documentation.
- Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, and similar tools.
Technical Analysis
- Understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Prepare API specifications and integration documents.
- Participate in requirement gathering workshops.
- Review vendor technical proposals.
Production & UAT Support
- Resolve API-related incidents.
- Support UAT and production deployments.
- Conduct root cause analysis for integration failures.
- Coordinate with business teams and vendors for issue resolution.
API Security & Compliance
- Implement API authentication and authorization.
- Work with VAPT remediation teams.
- Ensure secure API design practices.
- Support audit and compliance requirements.
Evidence from API VAPT and security-related activities.
- Infrastructure & Middleware Coordination
- Coordinate firewall, whitelisting, and port opening requirements.
- Work with middleware platforms and API gateways.
- Support deployment activities.
