Job Description:

The Site In Charge – Wind Execution will be responsible for end-to-end execution of wind farm construction projects at site, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality, safety, and budget. The role requires strong expertise in Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) installation, site mobilization, contractor management, and stakeholder coordination. This position will act as the single-point owner for on-site execution, driving project progress from site readiness to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

♣ Lead complete site execution of wind power projects, including WTG installation, commissioning, and project closure
♣ Plan and establish site infrastructure, including logistics, crane movement, access roads, and material handling
♣ Drive micro-level planning of daily/weekly execution activities and ensure alignment with overall project timelines
♣ Manage and coordinate with EPC contractors, installation teams, crane vendors, and subcontractors
♣ Monitor project progress, prepare MIS reports, and escalate risks / issues proactively
♣ Ensure timely availability of manpower, tools, tackles, and materials for uninterrupted execution
♣ Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards
♣ Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, permits, and contractual requirements
♣ Oversee quality control activities and ensure adherence to project specifications and standards
♣ Manage site documentation including NCRs, punch points, and handover documents
♣ Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, logistics) for seamless execution
♣ Liaise with local authorities, communities, and clients for smooth project operations
♣ Drive milestone completion and support billing certification processes
