We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heat Transfer Engineer with  experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in thermal system design, analysis & data validation of gas turbine/adjacent discipline with proficiency in utilizing thermal simulation tools.

As a Thermal System & Flow design engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing thermal/flow performance in our products (both fielded and also future Engines), ensuring compliance with industry standards, working on leading industry challenges and contributing to innovative solutions. Strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential for success in this role. Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Conduct thermal/fluid analysis and optimize the design which meet given requirements, validate learnings with test data. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal/fluid solutions into overall product designs.

  • Utilize CAD/UG or similar and 1D/2D/3D modeling tools for thermal system design and analysis.

  • Apply and develop best practices in day-to-day activities.

  • Effectively communicate concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Independently manage tasks within projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. 

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • MTech / MS/Ph D in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering/ Thermal Engineering or equivalent degree 

  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience on thermal design/analyses of gas turbine/adjacent domain 

  • Basic understanding of Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Turbomachines, secondary flow design 

  • Proficiency in thermal simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, Hypermesh etc.) 

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 

  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Continuous learning mindset and commitment to staying updated with industry trends.
