Job Description:

GENERAL MANAGER - HUMAN RESOURCES

I. Policies

a. Make and implement - various policies to improve the department’s performance
b. Create company policies that will encourage a healthy work environment
c. Create incentive policy for sales, production & another department

II. Employee Relations :

a. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
b. Address the complaints and resolve them by implementing innovative solutions with the respective department manager/ head
c. Research, develop, and implement such HR policies and organizational strategies that boost and improve the work environment for employees

III. Human Resources Information Systems, and HR data and analytics

a. HRIS – SAP Success Factor implementation
b. Analyse HR statistics and metrics like employee performance, turnover, retention, and cost per hire rate, monthly dashboard/ reports

IV. Performance Management

a. Driving Performance Management, KRA's, compensation and its benchmarking
b. Competency Mapping & assessment

V. Manpower Planning & Budgeting:

a. Formulating HR Strategy in line with business strategy including people planning and budgeting
b. Ensuring that robust HR systems are developed and continually improved to meet changing business needs
c. Talent Management and developing a succession plan for critical roles
d. Make long-term planning

VI. Employee Engagement, Rewards & Recognition, Training

a. Implementing Employee engagement activities for Office & Plant locations
b. Monitoring and implementing reward and recognition policies, employee counseling and feedback
c. Training Need Identification & Ensure Training plan implementation

VII. Benefits and compensation

a. Make and implement – department-wise standard salary structure, positions & CTC chart
b. Works on the development and implementation of employee benefits and compensation plans

VIII. Recruitment and selection onboarding

a. Developing and maintaining a systematic recruitment and selection process.
b. Hands-on experience with the largest job sites like Monster and Indeed
c. Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Facebook, Glass Door
d. Manage the complete employee Life cycle from onboarding to employee Separation
e. Ensure observations of exit interviews & employee separation.

IX. Compliances:

a. Compliances for PF, ESI, contract labor, shops & establishment, factories act, legal disputes etc.
b. Ensuring compliance with corporate travel policies, pricing guidelines, and contract agreements
c. Compliance as per IMS – ISO guidelines (Quality), EHS & OHSAS.
d. Ensure Employee safety at all offices & Plant locations

Education

Post Graduate in HR MBA, with above 16 years of experience and a minimum of 3-4 years
experience in manufacturing.
