Job Description:
Position: Senior Manager - Technical Services
Location: Jalgaon, Maharashtra
Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical engineering, MBA/PGDBA may be considered as an added advantage
Experience: Minimum 12- 15 years of experience in plumbing and piping work, practical knowledge of design and execution of building and infrastructure projects, building engineering services including MEP, lift irrigation, water supply, drainage systems and industrial applications. Sound knowledge of piping products, functional requirements of the products, raw material properties, lab and field test requirements, applicable standards and related guidelines. Knowledge and experience of handling customer complaints. Proficiency in various design software’s like AutoCAD, SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, EPANET, etc. will be considered as an added advantage. Candidate from plastic piping industry having experience in similar domain will be preferred.
Required skills: Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills with CRM and leadership qualities to lead and manage the team, readiness to travel on PAN India basis as per the work requirements.
Job descriptions:
- To manage various piping product complaints – collection and compiling of product complaints from various marketing people, channel partners or end customers in a standard format as per set protocol.
- Assess and analysis of the complaints from various aspects i.e. packaging, transportation, handling and storage, design and application, installation, product quality or manufacturing defects etc.
- Co-ordination with the technical team members from different areas, and all internal stakeholders i.e. mfg. plants, quality assurance, dispatch, logistics, marketing etc. for required information and analysis and to provide amicable solution.
- To provide recommendation or training to the customer on right installation methods and precautions required to avoid the mistakes if they are related with the installation or workmanship. To suggest corrective actions to the concerned department to avoid the recurrence of similar complaints in the future.
- If required site visits to understand the problem, to know customer requirements and to convince and provided proper solution to retain the customer.
- To carry out lab tests/field tests in co-ordination with concern technical people.
- To timely close the complaint on positive note and to ensure customer satisfaction.
- To keep the record of all complaints to monitor corrective actions status or any other actions required.
- In case the manufacturing defect is proved then to give product replacement in consultation with the seniors along with the required technical support. .
This position comes under COMPLAINT HANDLING CELL for Plastic Piping System division for handling the compliant effectively and to get corrective actions suggestions.
