Manager MSSQL DBA based at Greater Noida
Job Description:
- Experience in Installation, configuration, and maintenance of MSSQL Server cluster and standalone servers 2008R2\2012\2014\2016.
- Failure of backups and maintenance jobs.
- Establishing weekly maintenance plans such as Integrity check, rebuilding indexes, Update
- Experience in setting up, trouble shooting and maintenance of SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability Groups.
- Experience in creating SQL Server Logins, Assigning Roles to the users and Authentication Modes as part of Security Policies for various categories of users.
- Developing the successful Backup strategies based on Recovery models.
- Monitoring SQL server performance using profiler to find performance.
- Experience in Managing and monitoring jobs, Error Logs, Server space, Health of Database & Servers.
- Setup High Availability database infrastructure using Logshipping and Mirroring.
- Making data available to all the resources using Transactional Replication.
- Ensuring data consistency in the database through DBCC commands.
- Able to communicate with peers/customers, team and become proficient at root cause analysis while communicating and resolving customer technical problems.
