please find below description – Pointers for Traditional media planning role:
  • - Developing annual, quarterly and monthly marketing media plans based on market intelligence with the objective of brand building and demand generation Conceptualizing & implementing traditional media plans for product/campaign launches.

    -  Media Planning and Buying: Work to stiff targets of CPRP/Budgets – Drive Agency and Channels to get ROI’s through strategic planning, extensive use of research, data and analytics. Continuous reviews to ensure deliveries as per plan

    - Media Prioritization, - in depth understanding of BARC, Media Markets and understanding of IRS/Product Linkage to determine Market Prioritizations

    -  Competition analysis – Intensive Analysis of Competitive Media spends to determine competitive strategies and our consequent moves.

    -   Developing holistic communication channel solutions and subsequent negotiation with media houses in order to maximize media return on investment – Evaluate other media vehicles like Print, Radio, Outdoor , Cinema and enable better utilization of money’s by ploughing money to better ROI vehicles

    -  Managing the Agency Partners to get the best returns from our Media Investment – Responsible End to End for Media Partners incentive payments – setting targets, monitoring and evaluating people and performance

    - Media contract negotiating and budget control by using accurate reporting systems. Track the media agency’s service level with quarterly & bi-annual assessment

Skills and Qualifications:
  • MBA (Marketing) full time with around 4 -8 years of Media Planning experience ideally in a FMCG or media agency
  • B2C exposure in sales Organization
  • Media Expertise: Strong knowledge of various media channels and their effectiveness in reaching specific target audiences.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and using analytics tools to measure campaign performance.
  • Budget Management: Ability to manage budgets effectively and allocate resources for optimal results.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying strategies and campaign results to clients or team members.
