Manager – Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) Expert (Design and Engineering) Mumbai

Job Description:

The Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) Expert will be responsible for
providing technical expertise and support in the design, development,
and operational management of wind turbine generators. This role
involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the
successful delivery of wind power projects, while ensuring compliance
with industry standards and best practices.

1. Design and engineering of battery energy storage systems,
ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
2. Provide technical guidance on wind turbine generator selection,
design optimization, and operational performance.
3. Evaluate turbine layouts, structural analysis reports, foundation
designs, and grid connection systems.
4. Collaborate with OEMs and third-party suppliers for WTG
selection, technical specifications, and performance evaluation.
5. Support wind resource analysis, micrositing, and energy yield
assessments using specialized software (e.g., WindPRO, WAsP,
OpenWind)
6. Monitor turbine performance data, identify operational issues,
and suggest improvements for performance optimization.
7. Ensure project compliance with industry regulations (IEC, ISO),
local grid codes, and environmental standards.
8. Prepare detailed reports, technical documentation, and
presentations for stakeholders.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging WTG technologies,
and regulatory changes.
10. Knowhow of Local Standards and Codes & applicability of same
in design & engineering.
11. Actively involved in interdisciplinary coordination for finalization
of various Engineering Interfaces and Site Queries for
completion of various activities.
12. Participate in safety reviews, risk assessments, and system
reliability evaluations.
13. Preparation of MDL & MIS reports
14. Understanding of Civil requirement & interface with Civil design
team to provide final design documents for Good for
construction.
15. Excellent in co-ordination with various stakeholders including
site.
16. Sound knowledge of CEA regulations & compliance there-off.
