Job Description:

Job Purpose:
The O&M Site In-Charge will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and performance optimization of solar power plants in Karnataka. The role ensures plant availability, reliability, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:

   • Oversee daily operations of solar PV plants to ensure optimal performance.

   • Monitor SCADA systems, energy yields, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

   • Implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.

2. Team Management:

   • Supervise, train, and manage O&M technicians and contractors.

   • Allocate manpower efficiently and ensure adherence to safety standards.

   • Conduct periodic performance reviews and on-site trainings.

3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

   • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in PV modules, inverters, transformers, and electrical systems.

   • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for major repairs.

   • Maintain detailed maintenance logs and technical reports.

4. Compliance & Safety:

   • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and environmental standards.

   • Implement safety protocols and promote a safety-first culture on-site.

   • Conduct periodic safety audits and risk assessments.

5. Reporting & Analytics:

   • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

   • Track plant performance metrics and suggest improvements.

   • Support management in performance analysis and strategic decision-making.
