Finance Controller for FMCG co. based at Ahmedabad
Job Description:
Job Summary:
The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing various financial activities and ensuring
accurate reporting and analysis. They will play a key role in P&L report preparation and presentation,
GAAP entry preparation, provision checking and variance analysis, Korea Report PL & BS & COGM
preparation, LE reporting, monthly management reporting, and more. This role requires collaboration
with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate financial information.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and present monthly P&L reports, variance analysis, collaborating with Sales MIS, DF,
Purchase, Legal, IT, and Marketing teams for provision accounting.
Handle GAAP accounting, Corporate accounting, and corporate finance accounting, preparation
on a monthly basis.
Assist in Annual Budgeting and estimated financials preparation and presentation.
Monthly & quarterly P&L, BS & COGM reporting and variance analysis.
Deliver monthly management presentations with investment, cash flow, and business plan
updates.
Assist monthly factory closing process, ensuring provision accuracy, and assessing cost
implications before closing.
Participate in meetings, discussions, and query resolution related to financial matters.
Engage in quarterly audit query discussions and finalization with external audit.
Assist in statutory audit reporting and finalization on a yearly basis.
Handling cost saving project, reporting and presentation.
Responsible for end to end finance operations for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's
degree preferred).
Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CA.
10+ years of experience in finance management or related roles.
In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and
regulatory requirements.
Strong proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Team management skills.
Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
Experience with SAP implementation and monitoring is a plus.
