Finance Controller for FMCG co. based at Ahmedabad

Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing various financial activities and ensuring
accurate reporting and analysis. They will play a key role in P&L report preparation and presentation,
GAAP entry preparation, provision checking and variance analysis, Korea Report PL & BS & COGM
preparation, LE reporting, monthly management reporting, and more. This role requires collaboration
with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate financial information.

Job Responsibilities:
 Prepare and present monthly P&L reports, variance analysis, collaborating with Sales MIS, DF,
Purchase, Legal, IT, and Marketing teams for provision accounting.
 Handle GAAP accounting, Corporate accounting, and corporate finance accounting, preparation
on a monthly basis.
 Assist in Annual Budgeting and estimated financials preparation and presentation.
 Monthly & quarterly P&L, BS & COGM reporting and variance analysis.
 Deliver monthly management presentations with investment, cash flow, and business plan
updates.
 Assist monthly factory closing process, ensuring provision accuracy, and assessing cost
implications before closing.
 Participate in meetings, discussions, and query resolution related to financial matters.
 Engage in quarterly audit query discussions and finalization with external audit.
 Assist in statutory audit reporting and finalization on a yearly basis.
 Handling cost saving project, reporting and presentation.
 Responsible for end to end finance operations for accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's
degree preferred).

Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CA.

10+ years of experience in finance management or related roles.
 In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and
regulatory requirements.
 Strong proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.
 Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
 Effective communication and presentation skills.
 Team management skills.

Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
 Experience with SAP implementation and monitoring is a plus.
