KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Architect and design a distributed DAQ system coordinating with mission and
Systems Engineering teams.
• Develop hardware and firmware for DAUs, including signal conditioning,
sensor interfaces, and digital data handling.
• Design and implement a Data Acquisition System to synchronize, aggregate,
and process high-speed data streams from all sensors.
• Ensure real-time determinism and low-latency communication across avionics
networks.
• Define and implement PCM Telemetry data formatting, framing, and encoding
schemes (IRIG-106, CCSDS, etc.).
• Collaborate with mission systems teams to ensure telemetry units deliver
flight-qualifiable data streams.
• Work closely with mechanical, RF, and software teams to integrate DAQ
systems into flight hardware.
• Develop test benches and simulations for validating data latency, integrity,
and throughput across the full acquisition network.
• Perform system-level integration, functional testing, and pre-flight
qualification.

defense, or space systems.
• Strong experience with deterministic communication protocols
• Proficient in embedded system development using microcontrollers, FPGAs,
or SoCs.
• Solid understanding of digital communications, time synchronization (IEEE
802.1AS), and low-latency networking.
• In-depth knowledge of PCM telemetry standards (IRIG-106 Chapter 4/10/11,
CCSDS, etc.).
• Experience designing real-time data pipelines, including buffering,
timestamping, and data prioritization.
• Proficiency in schematic and PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD, KiCad).
• Hands-on experience with test and debug tools: oscilloscopes, protocol
analyzers, network sniffers, etc.
