Position: Area Manager – Retail Sales
Role Overview:
The role is responsible for driving business growth through agent recruitment, relationship management, and operational coordination. The candidate will work closely with agents, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations and achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, recruit, and onboard potential agents to expand the distribution network.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with agents and DSAs.
• Conduct regular field visits to agents to drive engagement, productivity, and business growth.
• Share competitive and accurate quotations (Motor, Non-Motor, and Health) with agents within defined TAT (Turnaround Time).
• Follow up with agents for conversion of shared quotations into issued policies.
• Coordinate with the Operations team for policy issuance, endorsements, cancellations, and cheque submissions.
• Coordinate with the Claims team to provide timely assistance to agents and customers.
• Communicate underwriting guidelines and updates to agents/DSAs promptly and effectively.
• Ensure timely renewal follow-ups with agents to maximize retention and persistency ratios.
Experience & Skills Required:
• Strong knowledge of Motor, Non-Motor, and Health insurance products.
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong follow-up and conversion skills with a target-driven approach.
