Designation: Assistant Manager
Role Overview
The Assistant Manager (Commercial) will drive product costing, margin analysis, and inventory governance while acting as the core commercial liaison between Manufacturing Plants and Corporate Sales. The position suits a hands-on commercial professional skilled in SAP and Advanced Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Costing & Pricing Dynamics: Build and track detailed SKU-level cost sheets taking into account raw material price changes (PVC resins, additives), conversion costs, scrap recovery, freight, and plant overheads.
- Manufacturing–Sales Bridge: Translate plant updates (yield variance, plant capacity, production schedules) into commercial insights for sales teams to protect margins during bulk orders.
- Cost & BOM Variance Analysis: Monitor landed costs against actual realized selling prices across multi-SKU product lines. Conduct BOM vs. actual material usage variance analysis.
- Commercial Coordination: Evaluate custom non-standard orders, tenders, and institutional inquiries for financial viability before price sign-offs.
- Reporting & Data Analytics: Maintain pricing master data, variance dashboards, and cross-functional reports using SAP and Advanced Excel.
