Manager / Head – Projects for QSR based at Mumbai
Job Description:
1. Job Purpose
To lead end-to-end restaurant project development, ensuring timely store openings, budget control, quality
standards, statutory compliance, and alignment with business expansion objectives.
2. Key Responsibilities
• Project Planning & Execution: Manage project timelines, new store openings, execution, and timely
completion.
• Design & Technical Coordination: Oversee layouts, civil, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, façade,
and other technical requirements.
• Budget & Cost Management: Prepare project budgets, monitor expenditure, negotiate costs, and
ensure budget adherence.
• Vendor & Site Management: Manage contractors, vendor selection, work allocation, site progress,
quality, and equipment installation.
• Team & Stakeholder Management: Lead the Projects team and coordinate with internal
departments and external stakeholders.
• Leasing & Documentation: Oversee lease documentation, landlord coordination, lease renewals,
and compliance with lease terms.
• Licensing & Compliance: Ensure timely completion and renewal of applicable licences, statutory
approvals, registrations, and regulatory requirements.
• Asset Management & Handover: Monitor asset procurement, movement, installation,
commissioning, and complete handover to Operations.
• MIS & Reporting: Maintain project dashboards and report progress, budgets, risks, delays, and
performance to senior management.
3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• At least 95% of projects opened within approved timelines.
• Adherence to project budgets and quality standards.
• Timely completion of licences, approvals, and lease documentation.
• Effective vendor, asset, and team management.
• Timely project handover and accurate MIS reporting.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
4. Key Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a
relevant discipline.
• Experience: 8–12 years in project management, restaurant development, QSR, retail, or hospitality
projects.
• Strong knowledge of project execution, budgeting, BOQs, technical drawings, leasing, licensing, and
compliance.
• Proven leadership, vendor management, negotiation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project tracking tools.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
