Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

1. Performance Monitoring & Analytics

• Oversee performance monitoring of multi-site renewable assets (Solar, Wind, Hybrid) through SCADA, IoT dashboards, and asset management platforms.

• Develop and maintain KPIs for energy yield, PR, CUF, inverter performance, and downtime analysis.
• Identify chronic underperformance patterns and propose technical or operational solutions.

1. Data Interpretation & Loss Analysis

• Perform root cause analysis for generation losses — including irradiation shortfalls, equipment downtime, grid curtailments, and degradation.
• Correlate field data (SCADA, logger, meteorological) with O&M activities to quantify energy impacts.
• Use statistical or programming tools (Python, Power BI, Excel etc.) for performance trend analysis and forecasting.

1. Process Improvement & Optimization

• Recommend and implement technical and operational improvements to enhance energy yield and equipment reliability.
• Develop predictive maintenance models using performance history and condition-based data.
• Support digitalization initiatives, automation of reports, and dashboard creation for performance visualization.

1. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Site O&M, Asset Management, and Engineering teams to address performance bottlenecks.
• Interface with OEMs, EPC contractors, and service providers to resolve systemic or recurring equipment issues.
• Participate in technical reviews, audits, and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) investigations.

1. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly performance reports highlighting generation gaps, RCA, and improvement actions.
• Maintain standardized documentation for plant performance, degradation studies, and equipment benchmarking.
• Present findings and improvement proposals to senior management.
