Senior Product Manager - E Commerce for Kolkata

Job Description:

Looking for a talented eCommerce Product Manager to join an Indian brand at their headquarters in
Kolkata.
Key purpose of the role:
? Ensure eCommerce partners ecosystem and portfolio and roadmaps remain competitive and
disruptive
? Guarantee that information about the eCommerce portfolio is clearly understood, both internally
and externally, in the most professional and accessible way
? This key role, reporting into the Head of IT and eCommerce portfolio leader
? Work together with the various teams (marketing, Category and stores) to develop the group
strategic product roadmap for providing regular updates and strategic analysis of the progress in
achieving the roadmap goals and contribute to innovation
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
? Lead product management efforts for Mobile and Website, with responsibility for defining the
related product roadmap, business plan and product offers; develop decisive strategies that deliver
tangible business results
? Present market requirements, trends, competitive landscape, product roadmap, pricing and
packaging options and cost model to the executive team
? Manage solution provider relationships and ensure roadmap requirements are adopted and
delivered
? Technology initiatives impacting on our business (e.g. 5G, eSIM);
Experience & Expertise:
? An experienced leader capable of influencing and inspiring cross-functional teams to challenge the
norm and deliver innovative solutions against a stretching vision and targets
? Proven experience of defining and delivering an outstanding, future-proof Retail solutions to
achieve ambitious growth targets
? Retail experience of 5+ years and ecommerce & mobile app development of 8+ years
? Expertise in Customer Order orchestration process
? Experience in working on Adobe Magento product implementation
Key Skills & Approach :
? Deep experience in the Multichannel business including – Order capture, Order orchestration and
selling across channels
? Proven ability to successfully manage the product lifecycle of complex solutions.
? Strong delivery focus, ability to work by objectives and against targets
? Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills;
? Deep understanding of Order management tools and an appreciation for a Magento platform-
centric development approach
? Strong leadership and storytelling skills

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

·         Experience- Product Manager – Ecomm tech/functional with 8+ years of experience, should have techno-functional capabilities. Top 3 questions to ask:

1.       Experience in development of customer order management platform either in ibm commerce/ magento/ uni commerce

2.       Experience in react native

3.       Experience in customer data analytics

4.       E-commerce app development experience – Grocery & Retailer

5.       Working knowledge of Magento/Sterling commerce

6.       experience of working in Dev-Ops model

7.       Business knowledge of – E-Commerce(Product listing, Order orchestration, warehouse management, CRM and Analytics)

8.       Defining backlog, story creation, OKRs and other key metric definition

9.       Stakeholder management and working with Technology partners
