Job Description Summary
Responsible for multiple projects as a Staff Enterprise Application Engineer. Will lead highly complex projects in the space of Oracle Demantra and S&OP that require in-depth domain knowledge of two or more specialized architecture areas. Will work across multiple technical and functional domains.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Engineer and design sound/supportable technical solutions to complex demand planning business problems
- Evaluate requests for enhancements and determine potential impacts with the current system design/configuration using Oracle Demantra, eBS and Cloud S&OP module
- Code complex/integrated customizations and/or solutions using PL/SQL procedures and packages, Unix Shell Scripts, Demantra Workflow/Methods, Oracle OBIEE
- Provide support and maintenance of existing customizations and application functionality. Triage/debug production issues (Data, Code, Performance, Security, etc.), identify root cause and corrective actions.
- Partner with Aerospace's demand planning business team and other functional teams in Supply Chain to understand business problems, define requirements, perform development and testing in multiple instances, conduct UAT
- Attend CAB processes and meetings to migrate enhancements to PROD. Monitor programs, interfaces using APPWORX chains and create new ones
- Develop technical documents like CF250/MD200/BR100 and collaborate/guide other development team members
- Proficiency in Oracle Demantra tool, worksheet development and modifications, engine configurations, method creation is a must. Proficiency in PL/SQL and Unix Shell script needed.
- Knowledge of Oracle ASCP and other Oracle eBS modules like Inventory, Order Management, Purchasing, BOM, WIP etc. desired. Knowledge of APPworx and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a plus.
- Contribute to the development of project and data delivery platforms with reusable components across teams that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.
- Lead and coordinate the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction across the product portfolio or product line.
- Analyze, design and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
- Review and/or analyze and develop architectural requirements at domain level within product portfolio or team.
- Participates in the enterprise architecture domain governance model.
- Lead the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support Provide technical coaching and direction to more junior teammates
Qualifications/ Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with with minimum years of experience of 6 years
