Job Description:

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

1. Sound Design knowledge of Wind Farm design including AC SLD, Wind Farm Balance of System Design
2. Wind Farm Layouts Engineering Unit Substation (USS) Equipment Plan and section drawings, Control Building Layouts, AC Earthing, Lightning Protection, Lighting, Cable Trays, Cable Trenches, etc.
3. Single Line diagram Key AC SLD, Metering and Protection SLD, Auxiliary AC / DC system SLD.
4. Design calculations Conductor Short circuit & Ampacity calculation, Shielding/Lightning Protection, Earthing Design including WTG earthing, Lighting, Bus bar sizing, MV/LT cable sizing, 33KV O/H TL design, Battery and battery charger sizing, UPS Sizing, Auxiliary transformer sizing, LA sizing, CT/VT sizing, Relay settings, etc.
5. Preparation of Technical specification / Tender documents
6. Preparation of BOQ /BOM
7. Preparation of Control, Protection and SCADA / PPC interface drawings and capable to review the Protection Schemes.
8. Preparation of IO list, ICS and Cable Schedule.
9. Preparing Block Logic Diagram.
10. Carrying out Vendor drawing review of PV Plant Equipment’s and Control & Protection System.
11. Knowhow of Local Standards and Codes & applicability of same in design & engineering.
12. Actively involved in interdisciplinary coordination for finalization of various Engineering Interfaces and Site Queries for completion of various activities.
13. Conduct Technical discussion with contractors, vendors / suppliers and conduct site visits to understand and provide solutions for design related issues.
14. Preparation of MDL & MIS reports
15. Understanding of Civil requirement & interface with Civil design team to provide final design documents for Good for construction.
16. Excellent in co-ordination with various stakeholders including site.
17. Sound knowledge of CEA regulations & compliance there-off.
