Job Description:

Responsibilities & Duties:
• Lead the identification of suitable sites for renewable energy projects, with a focus on wind and solar parks.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to evaluate the suitability of potential locations.
• Develop and implement strategies for acquiring land for project development.
• Negotiate land agreements and leases with landowners.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations related to land acquisition.
• Manage the process of obtaining necessary permits and approvals for project development.

• Liaise with regulatory authorities and local government agencies to facilitate the permitting process.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and other applicable laws.
• Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and policies impacting project development in the renewable energy
sector.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with legal counsel to address legal issues and mitigate risks.
• Oversee the overall project development process, from initial site identification to project commissioning.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or challenges, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, government officials, community
members, and project partners.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and foster positive relationships.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the project development team.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team and across departments.
