Job Description:
Job Title: IT Support / Infrastructure Support-CX
Job Summary: We are seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented IT End User Support and IT Administrator to provide technical support to end users and manage administrative functions related to IT. This dual role will be responsible for assisting with technical support, managing software and hardware issues, and overseeing IT administrative tasks such as invoice processing, vendor management, and follow-ups. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong technical foundation, and be adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
End User Support
Technical Assistance: Provide first level support to end users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, or in person.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues for end users, including login issues, connectivity problems, application errors, and general tech support.
Hardware and Software Setup: Set up and configure computers, mobile devices, and peripherals for new and existing employees.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within the IT ticketing system.
Training: Assist in conducting user training sessions and creating documentation for common IT issues and procedures.
IT Administration:
Invoice Management: Track, verify, and process IT related invoices, ensuring timely payment and accurate record keeping.
Vendor Follow Up: Coordinate with IT vendors for product and service delivery, warranties, renewals, and maintenance agreements.
Inventory Control: Maintain inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software licenses, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Budget Support: Assist with budget tracking and reporting for IT expenditures, keeping management informed of budget utilization.
License and Subscription Management: Monitor and manage renewals for software licenses, subscriptions, and maintenance contracts.
Qualifications:
Education: Diploma in Engineering, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system administration or a similar role.
Skills:
o Proficiency in managing Windows operating systems, Mac OS (IOS).
o Basic knowledge of network , security, firewall management and Virtualization technologies
o Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
o Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and basic ITIL practices is a plus.
