Job Description:

1. Driving Business & Market Share
a. Business forecasting & planning – track, analyse and implement strategies that will
ensure category growth
b. Drive volume & value growth across regions to deliver on annual marketing plan for
designated portfolio. Own up the task of delivering MS growths for the portfolio.
c. Plan the portfolio AOP and be the pivotal role in its implementation and monitoring!
2. Leading the Innovation process & portfolio P&L
a. Lead the innovation process of introducing new products in the portfolio through gate
processes and own the 8Q innovation funnel.
b. Lead projects for renovation / GM improvements which drive the portfolio P&L
c. Effective NPD Launch through relevant marketing and branding initiatives and tracking
and monitoring them ensuring planned outcomes
d. Ability to work with cross functional teams to deliver growth strategies aligned to the
overall business
e. Should be aware and well versed with research techniques, concept writing,

f. business opportunity sizing, leading cross functional teams etc.
3. Brand Building & Demand Generation
a. Development and implementation of the marketing, branding and portfolio
communications strategy - including campaigns, content, design, events, digital marketing,
and PR.
b. Engage with creative partners / agencies to develop and drive a singular message
for the portfolio
c. Design consumer promotions / schemes / initiatives for increasing consumer offtakes.
d. Provide short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market
research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
e. Drive consumer understanding for overall brand as well as the portfolio categories to feed
into initiative planning
f. Influence present and future products by providing market and consumer insights
g. Partner with channel heads (Ecommerce / MT / Food aggregators) to plan and drive
portfolio growths in these new channels
h. Partner with agencies on driving awareness and generating demand through new age media
4. Additional Brand Responsibilities
a. Manage portfolio A&SP budgets
b. Participate in the demand and supply planning process / S&OP process
c. Working closely with the company’s sales team; enabling them with relevant consumer insights to
meet their objectives.

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

Education
(degree / diploma)  MBA/ PGDM in Marketing

Experience

 At least7 years (with min. 5 years in FMCG)
 Brand planning, communications planning, and management
 Market research, marketing, branding and media relations

Knowledge and
Skills (Functional /
Technical)

 Knowledge and experience in Marketing Research, Statistical
Analysis, Developing Budgets
 Strong creative, analytical, organizational, and personal sales skills
 Expertise in excel and presentation skills
