Job Description:

• To manage the recovery litigation under Arbitration and SARFAESI laws and to manage against litigation. • To actively engage in identifying and filing suitable legal actions against the default customers.

1) Business & Financial Management • To initiate legal proceedings in all NPA accounts qualified under SARFAESI and suggest any other suitable litigation for faster recovery to take the cases at logical conclusion. • To Identify and initiate appropriate legal actions in delinquent accounts against borrowers under Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 for recovery of dues. • Filing Criminal Complaints in qualified cases and take them to logical conclusion. • To be integral part of collections to accelerate the collection process. • To defend the cases filed against the company including cases under consumer law, labour laws, criminal litigation in different forums, courts tribunals etc. ▪ Good knowledge in handling- DRT-DRAT-HC-CONSUMER- CRIMINAL CASES. ▪ Good communication skill & drafting Skill. ▪ Good command over law needs to do vetting of counters/Replies/objections/versions prepared by the advocate. • Identifying and on boarding of effective lawyer panel to support the litigation management. • Vendor management (Enforcement agencies/Law firms). • Managing cost to ensure the cost budget is not breached. • Establishing the litigation processes in the company and ensure compliance of established processes. 2) Portfolio Management • Proactive legal strategy for all sticky accounts. • Tracking of all legal cases so as to ensure no slippages. • Adhere to process flow prescribed in the collection manual. • Visitation of NPA accounts along with the collection team for faster recovery

• To be instrumental in litigations like, Sec 138, Arbitration, SARFAESI, sec 9/17 & other litigation proceedings. 3) People / Team • Effective team player to help the unit/organization to meet the short term and long-term goals. 4) Process / Quality Improvement- • 100% adherence to the process. • Improvise the current litigation strategy if required • Inculcate the best practices by implementing to improve efficiency. • Proactive strategy and avoid any reputational risk which may evolve. 5) Decision making authority • Describe the authority permitted to take decisions, and those you are expected to recommend
