Area Sales Manager- False Ceiling Product Project/Government Sales for Rajkot, Nagpur, Pune
Job Description:
Job Responsibilities – Area Sales Manager (Government / Institutional Projects)

Drive sales and business development for false ceiling products in Government, PSU, and institutional projects within the assigned territory.

Identify, track, and convert Government tenders, institutional projects, and large infrastructure developments.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with Government departments, Architects, Consultants, Project Management Consultants (PMCs), and Contractors.

Ensure product specification and approvals with Architects and Consultants at the design and tendering stages.

Coordinate with estimations, technical, and commercial teams for BOQs, drawings, samples, and technical submittals.

Support the tendering process, including pre-bid meetings, documentation, compliance, and follow-ups.

Manage the complete project sales cycle from lead generation to order closure and execution support.

Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as defined by management.

Monitor market intelligence, competitor activity, pricing trends, and upcoming government projects.

Ensure timely collections, documentation, and compliance as per company and government norms.

Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and MIS to management.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, site support, and customer satisfaction.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of overall sales experience
- 2–3 years of B2B experience in the building / construction industry
- Mandatory experience in Government / PSU / Institutional project sales
- Strong network with Architects, Contractors, and Consultants
- Exposure to false ceilings, building materials, or interior products preferred
- Fluency in local language with good spoken and written English
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
