Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Assess Security Controls: Evaluate the effectiveness of an organization's security policies, procedures, systems, and controls.
- Identify Vulnerabilities: Conduct security scans, code reviews, and penetration testing to find weaknesses in networks, applications, and systems.
- Ensure Compliance: Audit for adherence to industry standards (like ISO 27001) and relevant security regulations and policies.
- Document Findings: Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, including identified vulnerabilities and recommendations for remediation.
- Collaborate on Solutions: Work with developers and IT teams to implement and remediate security issues found during audits.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, best practices, and new technologies in the cybersecurity landscape.
- Enhance Security Posture: Contribute to the overall security posture of the organization by recommending and implementing security enhancements.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
Requirements and skills
- Knowledge of Information Security
- 5+ years in security roles
- Hands-on experience with application, system, and network security
- Familiarity with cloud computing, Linux administration, and TCP/IP protocols
- Strong knowledge of security fundamentals and best practices
