Department – Liability underwriting

Role Overview

Cyber Liability underwriter with a blend of technical knowledge and underwriting experience to support the cyber insurance portfolio at RQBE. The candidate should have a good understanding of the cyber risks, insurance coverage and pricing.

Skill:

·       Good understanding of cyber security framework.

·       Familiar with cyber risks viz ransomware, data breaches , social engineering fraud etc.

·       Good analytical, negotiation and communication skill

Education:   

·       Degree, Diploma or Certification in Cyber security

·       Bachelor’s degree or post graduate diploma , preferably , in Insurance & Risk management.  

Key Responsibilities

·       Assess client’s cyber security posture.

·       Underwrite cyber liability risks in line with underwriting guideline

·       Structure policy and pricing based on analysis of risk and market trends

·       Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, regulatory changes, new cyber coverage offered by the competitors .

·       Work closely with the internal team, brokers and clients  

Prior experience in assessing & underwriting cyber risk will be preferred.
