Job Description:
Selection Criteria – The candidates should have Maintenance experience on Gas Turbine and should have worked on Hot Gas Path Inspections & Major Inspections at customer sites and should have worked in Power Plant industry.
Technical Advisor – Mechanical
Job Description /Responsibilities
• Participate as Regional Service Team Member
• Lead execution of both planned and unplanned Outages
• Execute project management and technical advisor duties
• Support trouble shooting issues
• Work to be performed at customer locations through India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, etc.,
• Timely completion of inspection reports and other administrative activities before and after site services
• Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality.
• Support business growth initiatives
• Prepare timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and reference for future outages.
• Prepare job planning documents that define in the scope of outages to be performed through engineering instructions, drawings and process instruction.
• Provide technical direction to skilled labour performing work on customer sites.
• Good knowledge on usage of tools such as lifting devices, measuring instruments and P&M
• Maintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within GE safety standards.
• Basic knowledge on NDT and welding technology
Qualification /Requirements
• B.E./B. ech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 6-10 years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of Gas Turbines and associated auxiliaries
• Good in read and understanding isometrics and drawings
• Exposure to power plant and other rotating equipment’s is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and Technical skills to communicate with customer and team members
• Strong organizational skills & presentation skills to meet customer CTQ’s to deliveries
• Computer familiarity to MS Office.
• Customer centric approach/mindset.
• Ability to learn other software tool applications to support HMI and other application changes.
• Position requires extensive travel
