Experience: Minimum 18 yrs. of relevant experience post CA qualification

Skill, Knowledge & Trainings:
- Excellent knowledge of Principles and practice of Accounting, Financial Reporting, Direct and Indirect Taxation (TDS, GST etc.), Financial Management, Costing and Commercial Aspects
 - Excellent understanding of Financial Control systems and practices
 - Good Knowledge of Corporate and Economic laws. Knowledge of laws related to Securities Markets will be added advantage.
 - Good knowledge of MS Office suite, Accounting software, Fixed Assets software, Understanding of ERP Software would be an added advantage.

Job Purpose: The incumbent will have primary responsibility of managing day to day activities of Finance & Accounts function and Finance & Accounts team.
Area of Operation/Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting in compliance with applicable Accounting Standards. Responsible for monthly/quarterly/yearly closing & finalization.
 - Maintaining an appropriate and efficient Accounting System. Experience in development and implementation of ERP accounting systems development will be an added advantage
 - Overseeing day to day activities of Accounting and Finance function including team of F&A professionals
 - Financial MIS and Assisting Management with all the financial matters and decisions.
 - Budgeting and Cost analysis support to the Management and other departments.
 - Management of funds to meet the organization's needs and efficient deployment of surplus funds.
 - Supervising Banking Activities including Current Accounts, SGL Accounts, Nostro Accounts and Custody Accounts.
 - Supervising Accounting of Settlement operations and Membership transactions including daily reconciliation.
 - Developing and maintaining systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization
 - Compliance with applicable Corporate laws, Commercial & Economic laws, Payment & Settlement Systems Act, RBI Directions etc.
 - Compliance various Direct and Indirect taxation laws including fair understanding of law and procedures relating to Income Tax Act, DTAA, GST Act, etc.
 - Interacting closely with Auditors (external and internal) for smooth and timely audit compliance.
 - Overseeing sub-functions like Fixed Assets Management, Employee Benefits and Payroll Management, Bills Receivable, Bills Payable, TDS Compliance etc.
 - Oversight of all the regulatory compliances pertaining to Finance & Accounting function.
 - Managing and nurturing an efficient and expert Finance & Accounts team compatible with Organisation’s needs
