BD-Assistant Manager Business Development RMC

HO Mumbai

Reports to BD Head and MD

Purpose of Role/Job Summary:

The Business Development and Project Coordinator will explore new business growth opportunities, support superior goals, manage client relationships, and oversee project estimations and reporting. This role involves coordinating with internal teams and external agencies to enhance brand positioning and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market intelligence studies to identify new business growth and project opportunities.
  • Leverage various sources to gather relevant business information and insights.
  • Assist superiors in achieving the targeted order bookings for the year, aligning with the vertical mix.
  • Schedule and conduct client meetings to discuss company offerings and understand client needs.
  • Follow up with leads and prospects to nurture relationships and close deals.
  • Perform thorough analysis of received RFQs (Request for Quotes).
  • Prepare detailed estimation working sheets for RFQs.
  • Prepare and present the Sales Order Book.
  • Develop monthly sales and forecast reports for the next three months.
  • Create and maintain an Outstanding Receivables Report with aging details.
  • Compile the Business Development (BD) Pipeline Report.
  • Address customer complaints arising from defects or service deficiencies.
  • Coordinate with the ZOHO team to implement and administer CRM processes, enhancing process efficiency.
  • Lead and execute plans to enhance brand positioning.
  • Identify and coordinate with agencies for branding, SEO, social media management, and PR activities.
  • Manage website and brochure updates, drafts, and approvals from HOD.
  • Maintain the company's LinkedIn page, posting new events and updates as per business requirements.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture within the department.
  • Conduct regular reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Work Experience and Skills:

  • 4 to 5 Years Proven experience in business development in RMC, client relationship management, and project coordination.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in RFQ analysis and estimation preparation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
