Job Description:
Job Title: AM II
Department: Legal Department
Reports to: DM-I
Experience: 0-2 yrs (experience in International Law, if any, is desirable)
Required Qualification: LLB
Preferred Qualification: LLM
Skill, Knowledge and Trainings:
1. Understanding of various statues such as: Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, Indian Contract Act, 1872, Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, Companies Act, 2013 etc.;
2. Knowledge/experience in International Law.

- Excellent legal research and articulate drafting.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
- Effective Communication and good command of language.
- Initiative driven and self-motivated.
Functional Competencies:
- Understanding of various statues such as Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, Indian Contract Act, 1872, Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, Companies Act, 2013 etc.
- Understanding of Public and Private International laws.
- Good understanding of the Jurisdiction and the relevant statutes- applicability of new legislations, including impact assessment.
- Adept with procedures viz-a-viz courts, tribunals etc.
Job Purpose:
The incumbent will have primary responsibility of assisting in matters referred to and arising out of functioning of the Legal Department.
Area of Operations Key Responsibility
Existing and New Legislations Assessment of changes in the existing legislations and applicability of new legislations including impact assessment, specifically concerning financial markets and related areas.
Research Assistance in legal research and analysis of laws, rules, and regulations with regard to new products/services to be offered by company and/or its subsidiaries and implications arising therefrom.
Bye-Laws, Rules and Regulations Assistance in matters pertaining to Bye-Laws, Rules and Regulations of company and its subsidiaries.
Other Ancillary Matters
- Assistance with day-to-day administrative functions of the Department, including maintenance of MIS, records etc.
- Correspondences with regulators, market bodies etc.
Any Other Requirement: Any other work / responsibility that may be assigned, from time to time, by the Company.
