Job Description:
  1. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. AOP planning  
    • Gather and consolidate business requirements to be resolved through IT solutions by seeking inputs from various stakeholders in the beginning of year
    • Allocate responsibilities of analyzing various requirements among team members and guide them in conducting analysis and planning for approach (inhouse/ through vendors), budgets & timelines
    • Engage with development teams in inhouse/ vendor setting and facilitate interface between users and vendors/ inhouse delivery team to ensure alignment of understanding with concerned stakeholders’ requirements
    • Prioritize the requirements in terms of business importance, bandwidth etc. after discussions with stakeholders and define timelines for quarters to prepare quarterly solutioning plan
    • Review the calculations of budgets and timelines, put up to the stakeholder for approval, seek inputs from supervisor to resolve conflicting priorities and get input from president as well for finalization
    • Provide finalized plan, including detailing of requirements, costs, timelines and effort involved, to supervisor for inclusion in AOP plan for IT function
    • Help establish IT roadmap with reference to Salesforce and related systems
  2. Solution design
    • Oversee development of IT solutions by the team, incorporate any changes in expectations of stakeholders and provide for configuration of vendor solutions
    • Validate design of solution and finalized requirements description with stakeholders to ensure expectations are aligned and solution meets their requirements  
    • Identify and address roadblocks/ conflicts faced during solutions design and take approval on final design from stakeholders and President
    • Hand over the solution design to in-house delivery team in case of capability match (such as interface, etc.), else seek vendor support for delivery / development
    • Identify and evaluate capabilities of vendors, review and track development of solutions in alignment with timelines
  3. Stakeholder management
    • Engage with vendors to sensitize them about current and projected requirements to ensure planning for capacity, delivery and resources accordingly
    • Continually discuss with stakeholders to apprise of budget vs. the requirements emerging from them as well as to relook at priorities and changing requirements
    • Scan requirements to arrive at overall list of requirements to be addressed, analyze and discuss with stakeholders to understand scale & scope of requirements
    • Identify potential red flags in terms of abundance/ shortage in number of requirements received and share with Head IT
    • Approve the POs as per the delivery of solutions and ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner (for all IT verticals)

  5. Participate in recruitment process to identify the right talent for various positions within the team
  6. Establish individual performance expectations and regularly review individual performance of the team
  7. Identify and create development opportunities for team members to enhance functional knowledge
