Location: Mumbai Corporate Office

Grade: Chief Manager

Required Qualification/Parameters

Required Experience and Skills

o Preferably Law Graduate from a reputed institute

o 8 years+ experience in managing liability insurance claims in an insurance company or in insurance broking
o Should have good negotiation and analytical skills
o Should have good written and verbal communication skills
o Should have good computer skills

Will report to Sr Vice President - Claims

Key Responsibility of the Role

o Management of claims – Registration to settlement of claims in a judicious way and as per policy terms
o Coordinate with surveyors, legal advisors, subject experts, forensic investigators & accountants
o Empanel surveyors, legal advisors and other vendors as required in management of claims
o To ensure adherence to all predefined processes and TATs for claims processing
o To maintain claim files with claim documents
o Close interaction with the Distribution and underwriting team
o To prepare MIS for management
o Any other task as assigned by Reporting Manager / Chief Claims Officer
