State Legal Manager Litigation Hyderabad
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Compliance:
Ensuring the company adheres to all relevant state and federal laws and regulations.
- Litigation Management:
Managing all legal cases against the company within the state, including filing, defense, and settlement.
- Legal Advice:
Providing legal advice to internal departments and management on various legal matters, including contracts, compliance, and disputes.
- Contract Review and Negotiation:
Reviewing and negotiating legal contracts, ensuring they align with the company's interests and legal requirements.
- Risk Assessment:
Identifying and assessing legal risks associated with the company's operations within the state.
- Legal Research:
Conducting legal research to support legal decisions and strategies.
- Compliance with Regulatory Bodies:
Interacting with regulatory bodies and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations within the state.
- Coordination with External Legal Counsel:
Working with external legal counsel to manage legal matters and ensure effective legal representation.
- Legal Document Drafting:
Drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as loan agreements, security documents, and legal notices.
- Managing Panel Advocates:
Coordinating with a panel of lawyers to handle legal matters within the state, ensuring timely and effective resolution of cases.
- Handling Complaints:
Managing complaints received from customers and other parties, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Ensuring Quality of Valuations:
Reviewing and ensuring the quality of property valuations used for security purposes
